CMOVS:

Install the update disk into your floppy drive.

Exit out of the Rapid Rental program, and any menuing program to DOS.  Your prompt should say something like:

C:\VIDEO> or C:\>

The C may be replaced by another letter depending on whether or not you are running under a network. 

Type:

COPY A:CMOVS.EXE C:\VIDEO\CMOVS.EXE  and press <ENTER>

Where A is the name of your floppy drive.  If you are using your B drive then substitute B for the A.  If you are running on a network then you must substitute the correct drive letter for C.  (For Example if you have "S:\VIDEO" then replace the C with an S).  If you have placed the Rapid Rental program in a sub directory other than the VIDEO sub directory you must substitute the correct sub directory name for VIDEO.

To load the movie databases from the stores:-

Insert the disk from a store that contains the MOVIES.DAT file.

COPY A:MOVIES.DAT C:\VIDEO\MOVIES.DAT	and press <ENTER>

Insert the disk that has the MOVIES.DAT file from the next store and type:

COPY A:MOVIES.DAT C:\VIDEO\MOVIES1.DAT	and press <ENTER>

If you have more stores continue the procedure with MOVIES2.DAT MOVIES3.DAT etc.

TYPE:

CMOVS							ane press <ENTER>

Choose Option 3 Merge another movie file onto current one.
The merge file name will be MOVIES1.DAT.  (and then MOVIES2.DAT etc if more stores)  
NOTE:	Movies must NOT use the same code for accessing between stores.

Once the files have been "Pasted" together run the Rapid Rental program and run a complete reindex (C-1-E from the main menu).

You may then begin to transfer movies by disk per the manual.
